Yangon (Rangoon), the capital city, is the gateway to Myanmar and is a city unlike any other. Lush tropical trees lend shade to evergreen avenues and countless enchanting parks and beautiful lakes all contribute to Yangon’s deserved title of “the Garden City of the East.” It is a simple city with few skyscrapers, crowds or the fast pace of modern life. The city is flanked on three sides by water and it offers many sightseeing opportunities from ancient temples to old colonial buildings. Here are  highlights in Yangon .

Day 01 Yangon Arrival

Breakfast

Arrive Yangon International Airport. Meet and greet  by our guide and transfer to the hotel. Free and leisure at hotel. In the afternoon, we will visit Chauk Htat Gyi Pagoda to see a huge reclining Buddha image. Continuing on, we will see Karaweik Royal Bargea, a royal floating Barge on a lake for the fantastic photo view. Complete your first day in Myanmar with an extended visit to one of the world’s most spectacular monuments, the Shwedagon Pagoda: its golden stupa is the heart of Myanmar. Drive back  to hotel and leisure. Overnight at hotel.

Day 02 Yangon

Breakfast

Start Yangon City tour including  Sule Pagoda, dating back over 2,000 years ago. Continuing on, we walk around the Mahabandoola Park to see the colonial courthouse and the city hall. The next stop to visit is the renovated National Museum to see the Lion Throne. In the afternoon, we visit Kaba Aye Pagoda, Maha Pasana Guha Cave where the sixth Buddhist snod took place in 1952. Later on, we visit the Bogyoke Market – used to call Scott Market for shopping. To finish a day, we visit Sule Pagoda – landmark in the heart of city. Drive back to hotel and leisure. Overnight at hotel.

Day 03 Yangon Departure

Breakfast

Free and leisure at hotel until departure .Transfer to the Yangon International Airport for the departure flight to your next destination.
